Exploring quantum systems with novel quantum properties

Software

The following two public software have been developed by our group:

1.- BITLLES: Bohmian Interacting Transport in non-equiLibrium eLEctronic Structures (*)

BITLLES

BITLLES is a user-friendly, general-purpose software for time-dependent simulation (DC, AC, noise) of electron transport in nanoelectronic devices, using either semi-classical or quantum (Bohmian) trajectories.

  • Last version: Octubre 2024

  • Website: BITLLES

(*) The acronym BITLLES (Bohmian Interacting Transport for non-equiLibrium eLEctronic Structures) is also the catalan name of the bowling pins, which are solid pieces of plastic or wood situated in a periodic structure (similar to a solid-state device) waiting for a ball (an electron) to impinge on them.

2.- QCslim: Quantum and Classical Simulation of Light and Matter

QCslim

The QC-SLIM is a didactic software designed to study classical and quantum simulation of light interacting with matter through visual animations. It covers both the fundamentals and practical aspects of light and matter interactions. It discusses the differences and similarities between classical and quantum treatments.

  • 2nd version: Decembre 2024

  • The QC-SLIM is part of the DIGI-Q project funded by the European Union.
