The Organizing Committee has a pre-reservation of a limited number of rooms at special prices in the following three Hotels which are very close to Casa Convalescència (where the conference will takes place).

Other hotels arround Barcelona

There are around two thousand hotels in Barcelona, hence we do not pretend here to provide an exhaustive list. Hotel directories could be easily found within any of the common tourist guides available on-line (see for instance "The Lonely Planet", "Time Out", "Michelin", "Routard", etc.). Instead, below we provide a short selection of interesting hotels that we believe are unique, either because of their special design or architecture, because their location or unique views of the city, or simply because they are emblematic of the city. They have also been selected in such a way that their locations run from the Tibidabo (the mountain in the northern part of the city) to La Barceloneta (the old fisherman's neighborhood), passing through famous neighborhoods such as Gracia, l'Eixample or the Gothic quarter. Most of the hotels described below are not specially cheap, however they do often offer special prices if you book your room sufficiently in advance. Even more interesting, almost all of the hotels listed below open their amazing terraces with "genuine" views of the city (some of them even with live music) to the non-clients. Do not hesitate to stop by and have a beverage, grab a bite or have a cocktail.

Praktik Rambla ***	Cheap, beautiful and a short hop from the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, this hotel is in a historic art nouveau building. In the Praktik Rambla boutique hotel the original Art Nouveau elements of the building are conserved, such as the mouldings of the high ceilings or the mosaic floors (original 19th century tile work).
Barcelo Raval ****	The Barcelo Raval hotel is located right in the heart of Barcelona. At a short walking distance is the metro station Liceu, from where you can comfortably access points of interest throughout the city.
